Ingredients:
- 110 g butter, melted
- 90 g librown sugar
- 50 g white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon horlicks or malted milk powder
- 150 g flour
- 110 g chocolate pieces
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
Inst ructions:
- Line a 23 x 18 centimeter baking tray (or a suitable baking tray for your air fryer) with baking paper and set it aside.
- Beat the melted butter and sugar together in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract and the Horlicks/malt milk powder to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until the mixture becomes light in colour. span>
- Gently fold the flour, chocolate chips, baking powder and salt into the mixture until no flour streaks are visible. Be careful not to mix too much.
- Press the cookie dough evenly onto the lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the air fryer at 160 degrees Celsius for 22 minutes. You want the cookies to be slightly underbaked for a chewy texture, as they will continue to cook as they cool.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet, then turn them over and cut them into squares.
